Took a little hiatus, I am sure most of you have been aware of my wife's medical issues and how busy I get at work. The posts will begin picking up again as we head toward elections this fall.
Couple things:
Had a few hoodlums trying to set off fireworks on my street this morning at 4:30am. Kudos to Officer Kyle Sheehan for responding lightning quick. Also kudos to my dog Spyfox for alerting me.
Idea for the day: Instead of talking about local people who made the national spotlight this week. Remind your friends to drive past St. Mary's and look at how great our church is going to look when it's done....spread some good news.

Why I Post Here
The residents voted me into Village Council last year. I really think that people vote for council members so they don't have to attend these meetings themselves. It's a lot easier to read my blog whenever you want than to try to attend all the meetings I do. I also do not like the Norwalk Reflector and Lorain Journal websites which allow for anonymous comments. If you want to speak with me do it here or call me. If you live here you know how to get a hold of me. OR you can simply just lurk here and read what I have to say, thats OK too.
Why Did I Name This Wakeman Facts?
It's a catchy name.
